Buyer Demand
Who is buying right now, by sector
Pooled, anonymized acquisition demand from active mandates across the BizNexus network. Bands, not figures. Sectors, not names.
Acquirers in the BizNexus network hold documented mandates for lower middle market companies in facility and home services, industrial manufacturing and mission-critical services and healthcare services, generally from $300K to $3M+ in EBITDA. Each sector page below lists what they are pursuing, at what size and where, pooled from active mandates and refreshed on 2026-09-26.

Method
How this page is built
Most published buyer lists are either a directory of firms that have not said what they want, or a survey of what buyers say in general. This is neither. It is what acquirers in our network have asked us, in writing, to find for them.
Pooled from active mandates
Each line is drawn from a documented acquisition mandate held by an acquirer in the BizNexus network. If a mandate closes or changes, the line changes with it.
Anonymized by construction
Mandates are grouped by sector and generalized before anything is published. No buyer, mandate, client or target can be identified from these pages, and we never publish an individual mandate.
Bands, not figures
Size is expressed as EBITDA and revenue bands. Geography is national, cross-border, or a region. Nothing more precise appears here, on purpose.
Refreshed 2026-09-26
The snapshot is refreshed as mandates open and close. The date on each page is the date the lines were last checked against the mandates behind them.
Owners
If you own a business in one of these sectors
A line on these pages means acquirers with a documented mandate are active in your sector at your size. It does not mean you should sell, and it does not mean any particular buyer will want your company. It means the demand is specific enough to test against.
Talking to BizNexus costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We are not a broker. We do not represent sellers, negotiate, hold funds, or sign deal documents. We confirm whether your business fits an active mandate and, if you want to go further, connect you with an advisor who works your industry and deal size. Nothing is listed or broadcast.
Advisors
If you advise on one
The demand on these pages is the buyer list you are otherwise building by hand, one call at a time. Submit a blind teaser for a deal you already hold and we run it against the documented mandates behind the relevant lines.
Introductions are buyer-paid. The acquirer pays BizNexus a success fee, you keep your full engagement fee, and there is no listing requirement and no exclusivity. You choose which introductions to take.
FAQ
Buyer demand, answered
- Who is buying lower middle market companies right now?
- Across the BizNexus network the acquirers are private equity-backed platforms, independent sponsors, family offices and strategic operators, each with a documented mandate on file. The sectors with the most consistent demand today are facility and home services, industrial manufacturing and mission-critical services, and healthcare services, generally from $300K to $3M+ in EBITDA. Each sector page lists the lines in detail.
- Where does this buyer demand data come from?
- From active acquisition mandates that acquirers in the BizNexus network have documented with us. We pool the mandates by sector, generalize the size and geography into bands and regions, and publish the result. The mandates themselves are confidential and are never published, counted or described individually.
- Can I see which buyers are behind a demand line?
- Not on these pages. The buyers are identified only after a business has been checked against a specific mandate and both sides have a reason to talk. That is the arrangement the acquirers have with us and it is why the demand on these pages is real rather than aspirational. If your business fits, the introduction happens on your terms and with your consent.
- Does the seller pay BizNexus a fee?
- No. BizNexus is paid by the buyer side, as a success fee on transactions it sources. Talking to us costs an owner nothing and commits them to nothing. BizNexus is not a broker: we do not represent sellers, negotiate, hold funds, or sign deal documents. If you already work with an advisor, they remain your advisor throughout.
- I am an advisor with a deal in one of these sectors. What happens if I submit it?
- You submit a blind teaser and we run it against the documented mandates behind the relevant lines. Where there is a fit, we bring you the acquirer and you decide whether to take the introduction. Introductions are buyer-paid: the acquirer pays BizNexus a success fee and you keep your full engagement fee. There is no listing requirement and no exclusivity.
